Les 75 livres indispensables recommandés par David Bowie

David Bowie fut, tout au long de sa vie, un grand lecteur. Lors d’une rétrospective de son travail intitulée David Bowie Is, les spectateurs ont pu découvrir une sélection de ses livres préférés, que l’artiste considérait comme indispensables, nourrissant sa créativité et sa vision : un véritable voyage entre genres littéraires, auteurs et œuvres. De l’histoire politique et musicale jusqu’au roman, de la poésie à l’essai, cette sélection révèle un goût certain pour l’éclectisme. Deux regrets néanmoins : d’une part il ne figure aucun livre antérieur au XXe siècle, d’autre part il n’est fait mention d’aucun ouvrage de langue française.
